“Like yoga, birth is about getting out of the way, shedding what needs to be shed, and allowing ourselves (and our ego) to dissolve. Sometimes it is an ecstatic dissolution, and sometimes the process is very painful. As with any spiritual path, the more awareness we bring, the more we reap from our experience.”-Dr Sarah J Buckley, “Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering”
